The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce invites to a fireside chat with the accomplished Mrs. Azita Raji, former American Ambassador to Sweden. The theme for the night will be political implications on Swedish-American business relations. Mrs. Raji will talk about the current and future path for Swedish-American business relations – opportunities and threats.
Azita Raji is an American diplomat, banker, and philanthropist. She was the first female U.S. ambassador to Sweden, and the first Iranian-born American to serve as a U.S. ambassador. In her prior career as an investment banker, Ms. Raji held senior management positions on Wall Street. She was appointed by President Obama as Commissioner on The President’s Commission on White House Fellows, one of America’s most prestigious programs for leadership and public service, founded in 1964 by Lyndon B. Johnson.
