Organizing conferences is one of the Chambers most ambitious ventures, covering
current topics for Swedish-American business exchange and hosting up to 1000 visitors.
These events are held throughout the Bay Area; be it near airports, the vibrant
Silicon Valley or in the city of San Francisco itself. Examples include "The Stem
Cells Symposium in San Francisco" and the "Swedish Design Expo".
Seminars / Presentations These events usually take the
form of company presentations and / or workshops which members of SACC-SF/SV and
guests are invited to attend. The events may be held at venues provided by SACC-SF/SV's
co-organizers; varying from company offices to clubs and hotels in and around
San Francisco. Examples include "Winning the General Election" and "Swedish Success
Stories".
Social Events Our social events
include business mixers, dinner parties and golf tournaments. Themes vary substantially,
but the common denominator is the overall aim of providing our members with an
arena in which to socialize and network with fellow members. Examples include
"The Scandinavian Cup Golf Event", "The Annual SACC Crayfish Party", and "Wine
& Art".
