Ms. Bernström's new body of work is titled "Inner Light" where the Swedish archipelago has been a source of inspiration in several of the works. The paintings are explorations of feelings about the internal and external landscape, where elements of emotion, narrative, and nature interweave.

2011 ANNUAL CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON

The 2011 annual Christmas Luncheon was a great success featuring a traditional Swedish Julbord consisting of cured salmon, herring, Jansson's temptation, Swedish meatballs and more delicacies cooked to perfection by Chef Pelle and Fairmont Hotel. Over 125 guests gathered in the beautiful Venetian room to enjoy a traditional Swedish Christmas filled with joy, food, ginger bread cookies, mulled wine, aquavit, snaps songs and a Lucia pageant. The luncheon ended with a thrilling raffle with great prizes. Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to all our sponsors, guests, board members and Lucia performers who made this luncheon possible!
