Norwegian-born Lisa Egebø’s twenty-year career in the airline business has taken her around the world and across a variety of professional settings. With her recent posting to San Francisco, she continues to combine her flair for providing impeccable services with a great sense for sales and business management.
Lisa’s accomplishments with Coast Air eventually took her across the Atlantic where she landed a job with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) at Newark. In the busy environment of this greater New York area airport, Lisa employed the significant skills she had acquired to deliver top quality services to the SAS business clientele. In 2004, Lisa transferred to the sales department at SAS, and over the subsequent nine years obtained extensive sales experience in both the United States and Norway, managing inside and outside sales, online and travel agency sales.
When SAS prepared to launch its nonstop route between Copenhagen and San Francisco in April 2013, Lisa returned to the US. Lisa manages both corporate and agent accounts in California while helping to build and cultivate the SAS portfolio in the Bay Area. With her new posting, Lisa is happy to help connect two highly innovative areas of the world – Scandinavia and the Bay Area – as the new SAS route goes about helping to foster enhanced trade and knowledge exchange between the two regions.
