A SUMMIT DRIVING INNOVATION FOR SAFER ROADS

The Traffic Safety Innovation Summit serves as an international platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and solutions to improve road safety. Our aim is to accelerate innovation, foster collaboration, and promote practices that can reduce fatalities and serious injuries on our roadways. Together, we can create a safer and more sustainable future for all road users.

Road safety remains a pressing public health challenge, with significant differences across regions.

In 2023, more than 12 people per 100,000 inhabitants lost their lives on U.S. roadways. That number is equivalent to filling an average professional baseball stadium. In the European Union, the corresponding figure was 4.5 road fatalities per 100,000 inhabitants, representing far less than half the U.S. rate.

These numbers highlight the need for collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange - which is why the Traffic Safety Innovation Summit has been established.
