Meet André Persson,

André is a seasoned expert in public affairs and public relations. He has held senior roles at global tech companies including Akamai, Microsoft, and Unisys, and also worked as a PA and PR consultant. As an entrepreneur, he built and exited a content solution service, combining strategic insight with hands-on execution across both technology and policy.

He is also an author. His bestselling book Candy for the People explored Sweden’s sugar culture, while No Bull examined how energy drinks like Red Bull were launched and the health and traffic safety concerns that followed. The latter sparked his ongoing interest in behavioral risk factors linked to road safety.

Based in Dallas, Texas, André is Senior Advisor and former Chairman of the Board for the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Houston. He helps strengthen transatlantic business and innovation. He has contributed to Svenska Dagbladet and now writes for Fokus and Tidningen Näringsliv, covering U.S. politics, trade, and economic trends from a Swedish perspective.
