Whether you’re raising a new fund, asking for a salary raise, presenting in front of a big client, getting a seed round going, defending a PhD or asking someone on a date, there will be turning points in your life when your fate hinges upon the quality of the pitch you make. Do you know what to do to make that pitch great every time? Or are you just going to leave those crucial turning points to chance? In this live talk/workshop, we will teach you some of the main principles behind being a Compelling Person so those presentations go better and better every time you make them.
Dr. Ali Binazir is the West Coast Pitch Doctor for KNP Communications, which has trained 70+ members of the United States Congress, as well as 90% of the people who spoke on stage at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Dr. Ali Binazir is a certified clinical hypnotherapist, speaker and author specializing in behavioral change and self-management in high-performance settings. To demonstrate the concepts live, during the talk we will be coaching 3 volunteers from the audience on their presentation skills. If you would like to be coached, prepare a 1 min presentation on a topic of your choice. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, VC, executive, mid-career professional or recent grad, we are here to help you acquire the skills to put your career on a higher trajectory. Ali will also give us his insights on how Nordics, with our charactereistic “Jantelagen”, can adapt to the US way of speaking.
