SACC-SF/SV: Thomas Erikson – Author of Bestseller “Surrounded by Idiots”
October 27 @ 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM$5
Have you ever tried to argue with your partner, and nothing went as you planned? Or, in confusion, left a meeting with the feeling that you did not understand anyone the room? And have you noticed that some people never seem to hear what you say – no matter how explicit you are? Sometimes it seems impossible to be thoroughly understood, and some people seem almost to misunderstand you on purpose.
We are pleased to present Thomas Erikson – the author of the bestseller, Surrounded by Idiots that has sold over 1 million samples. Thomas’ theories are based on the famous DISA profiles that use a color scheme of red, yellow, green, and blue as a base to describe different behavior and personalities. Some have praised the method, and some psychologists and scientists have disapproved, but nevertheless, the book has been a success. Finally people could understand why their red boss behaved as he did, why the sales guys are nearly always yellow, and why some green people don’t really want change. Any manager who had a team of only blue people understood why no project ever reached the finish line.
How to best interact and act with the people surrounding us is a skill we all try to fine-tune and calibrate on a daily basis. Join us for an interactive webinar where Thomas Erikson and the SACC-SF/SV team will discuss social interaction and communication in relation to the method. There will be a lot of interesting anecdotes and ideas on how you could practice yourself and with your surroundings.
Is it true that more people in Sweden are Green and Blue as the Red and Yellow emigrated to the US? How much is the context one evolves within influencing the character? Can we change, or are we born into a color code? Are we one color, or can one have multiple colors? Should you choose your partner based upon a color code?
This and many other things we’ll try get answers to in this webinar.
